Banana Cream Pie
9" blind baked pie shell
1 ripe banana
Pastry Cream 450g / 2 cups
Heavy Cream 240g / 1 cup
Sugar 24g / 2 TBSP
Vanilla extract 2g / 1/2 tsp
Place sliced bananas on the bottom of the pie shell.
Smooth the pastry cream, and spread on top of the bananas.
Whip the heavy cream, sugar and vanilla extract together to a medium stiff peak.
Make a dome of whipped cream on the pastry cream.
Finish with cocoa powder and chocolate shavings.
